I've been converting a series of sample cameras to identify good Infragram Point & Shoot candidates. These are all suffering from blue channel IR leakage to varying degrees, but I wanted to share the teardown photos; they've all been easy to modify (much easier than Canons!):

I have this SportCam Bright. She really does not support the IR filter blue? Has any chance of fixing this?

Hi, Jasperzanco - can you post some photos you've taken with the camera?

I have an Emerson Action Cam that looks a lot like the camera in your first photo. The lens appears to be glued irreversibly in place with cyanoacrylate (super) glue. I am afraid that if I twist too hard, I am going to break it from the PCB. Any ideas?

Sorry, do you mean Mobius action cam? @cfastie did a great conversion of one of those, here: http://publiclab.org/notes/cfastie/04-22-2014/mobius-ir-conversion

No, it actually looks a lot like camera one above. I have been reading about light leakage in the other cheap cameras, so I will probably bite the bullet and purchase a used Canon A495. Thanks, though. Here is a retail link http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2E80SE5075

Hm, interesting. Sometimes the glues they use will melt when you heat them with a hair dryer, which could be worth a try. If you manage to convert it, tell me how it goes!
