I got a notification of this because I now monitor the Spam folder of my gmail account. Did gmail change its policy or did Public Lab change its notifications? The change happened about September 20.
Thanks, Chris - we were testing a different bugfix -- there were two. This latest change fixed an issue with @callouts not triggering email sends at all -- which has apparently been the case for quite some time due to a bug in a related change. There's now an automated test to ensure that it doesn't get disabled again.
The spam folder issue is separate but we are also addressing that soon.
Hi @cfastie and @warren I've routed publiclab platform email thru gmail now. It delivers email to my inbox instead of spam folder now. Hopefully it does for you as well?
Public Lab is open for anyone and will always be free. By signing up you'll join a diverse group of community researchers and tap into a lot of grassroots expertise.
