How can you pick where to sample so that you can see and say whether the contamination is coming from the landfill or some other source? What kind of contaminants - in the soil- are you concerned about from a landfill? Have you used soil contaminant tests to help with ensuring a landfill complies with environmental and human health regulations?

@stevie any ideas regarding landfill community work we've done in the past?

It's important to do some of your own research about the landfill ahead of time.. what kind of contaminants are you concerned about? What was buried in the landfill? It can be fairly expensive to test, so you will want to do as much research ahead of time as possible. Is there water involved? upstream vs downstream testing may be a good strategy..
