Question: How to mount grating in 3D printed smartphone spec?

Hi, I built the https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:125904 and cut a DVD piece ~ 1x3 cm as grating foil.
Unfortunately, I don't get rainbow spectra, but just 'noise'. Any recommendations on how to mount the foil?
