Interested in exploring water monitoring techniques that can help us report frac sand water pollution events? Want to learn about low cost dust monitoring and technique development? Join us Saturday, April 23rd at the Eau Claire Public Library from 10:30am-12:30pm for an event exploring these projects!

From 1:30-3:00pm we'll also be running a water sensing activity exploring turbidity and reporting runoff events in streams. Join us for one or both parts of the event!

About the event

Following up on the Frac Sand Tools for Action event and the work that is being done on low cost dust monitoring and water monitoring, Public Lab is hosting another event! This event is open to people of all ages and interests, so whether you're a concerned citizen interested in reporting water pollution or a hobbyist interested trap cams and electronics, this is the event for you.

Where: The Chippewa Room in the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire, WI.

When: Saturday April 23rd
10:30am-12:30pm in the Library exploring monitoring techniques.
12:30 Lunch @ The Galloway Grill
