Did you modify it in any way, for example by removing some filters?
Also, did you use the regular DVD grating, in transparency mode or in reflection mode?

OK, i had doubted this, so i redid the test with the most recent spectrometer design. It seems OK! I see down to 360, clear!
And compared to the CFL calibration:
Nice!
