Set up of the Microscope Kit from Public Lab, a USB webcam connected to my Raspberry Pi 4B 4GB RAM. A 40X microscope objective lens is connected to the webcam sensor.
On the Raspberry Pi, I use the software GUVCview to take image with the webcam.
First sample tested: one of my hair.

This looks awesome! Also well illuminated. Did you use a cover sheet for the sample or is this just freeform? It looks like there are tiny bubbles in the image.

Yes I use a thin cover sheet over the hair (from bottom to top: glass slide, hair, cover sheet). I think the bubbles are real, I added normal water to the hair (it is useful for microscopy to use hydrated samples).
