Project Background
Ann Chen has been traveling since October 2014 along the proposed Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline, working with communities to make aerial maps of their land. She is interested in collectively mapping the potential and current impacts of energy infrastructures on communities and the environment. If you would like to propose a mapping site or are interested in learning more about the project, you can visit pipelinemapping.tumblr.com or follow her on the National Geographic Voices blog.
