Lab chemicals include reference standards, lab reagents, etc. These chemicals are extremely precious and must be handled carefully. So please share the best practices used in pharmaceutical, clinical or environmental laboratories for handling such materials.

The USP is a good starting point. You have to choose between NIST, primary standard, and other grades. Do you know what reagents you will be using? Or what tests you will be doing? Any help we can give...

@Ag8n Thank you for the information. No, I don't know yet which reagent will be used in the project. Anyway, what do mean by "we".

Hi @Rehan , the "we" refers to Public Lab contributors because we are an open source community.

Agreed with @Ag8n for the USP as a good starting point. Furthermore, ICH Q7 guidelines would be a great starting point as well. Read "How to Handle Laboratory Reagents and Standard Solutions Prescribed by Section 11.16 of ICH Q7 Guidelines?". If you need anything else just let me know.
