What I want to do or know
I came across a lot of cameras for which are suitable to be converted into NDVI camera. But, technically i couldn't find any notes stating the requirements of camera suitable for filter replacement. So, Please suggest the list of features which a camera should incorporate for Filter replacement and NDVI imaging.
Background story
I am planning to document the list of cameras suitable for Filter replacement. So, I would like to know the basic requirements of the cameras. Also, Please suggest me the features which a camera should not possess for Filter replacement.
Thanks Everyone.
Hi! There are a range of reviews and comments on different conversion-candidate cameras here: https://publiclab.org/wiki/infragram-convertible-cameras
Hope that helps!

This is a good question, and not an easy one to answer.
Preferred characteristics of cameras to be converted to pure NIR or full spectrum (NIR + RGB):
Top priority
Medium priority
Preferred characteristics of cameras to be converted to single camera NDVI (NIR + VIS):
Top priority
Medium priority
Unfortunately, it is not possible to know most of these things without attempting to perform a conversion on a camera. Therefore, Public Lab encourages people attemping conversions to record their experience here: https://publiclab.org/wiki/infragram-convertible-cameras. This is a good list of cameras that have been successfully converted to IR and some that were not successfully converted. The list is aging and few cameras have been added in the last year.
It would be good if each of the entries on that page included a minimum set of particulars related to the above list.
