OpenHour is an interactive seminar hosted by the Public Lab Community both online and in person. The topics of OpenHour vary from presentations on tools and methods, discussions on environmental issues, to approaches to data-based advocacy. OpenHour is a great way to meet people in the Public Lab Community. Bring your research, your ideas, and your questions; and join us for OpenHour.

Monday, March 6th, 8pm ET (1am GMT): Water Water Everywhere! A discussion of monitoring strategies and tools
Many would argue that some of the deepest roots of citizen science stems from work in community based water monitoring. In this OpenHour we will talk about new water monitoring tools and strategies as well as discuss long standing methods people have used. We will be joined by citizen science water monitoring groups, as well as those who have more recently worked on building open source monitoring tools the Riffle and the Mayfly. Join OpenHour for this riveting discussion on water monitoring methods!

Many would argue that some of the deepest roots of citizen science stems from work in community based water monitoring. In this OpenHour we will talk about new water monitoring tools and strategies as well as discuss long standing methods people have used. We will be joined by citizen science water monitoring groups, as well as those who have more recently worked on building open source monitoring tools the Riffle and the Mayfly. Join OpenHour for this riveting discussion on water monitoring methods!
