cfastie was awarded the Photo Documentation Barnstar by stevie for their work in this research note.

The Friday before the Northeast Barnraising brought together a half dozen Public Lab Organizers, four staff members, and a few other community members to outline the roles and responsibilities of the 50 or so current Organizers and discuss ways to continue successful volunteer interactions. We spent the day at Tidmarsh Farms, and ended it with a potluck dinner and boating at Jones River Landing. Below are some photos from an early morning walk around the abandoned cranberry cells, the summit, and fun at Jones River Landing. There are a few more photos in this Flickr album.

Cell 4 where cranberries were harvested just a few years ago. Red maples have colonized and grown quickly, but many will be removed during the restoration.

Looking over Cells 3 and 4. This vantage would be an excellent place for a repeat Gigapan station to document the removal of the berms (with road), creation of new meandering stream channels, and the subsequent ecological response.
